Rate: up to €1200 per day all-in
Our client, a leading investment management business require an IT Security Analyst to join them for a 12 month freelance contract The focus of the role will be to take responsibility for the IT security of the business and ensure they are in line with security best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in cyber security technologies and control mechanisms
- Ensure Cyber Security policies and standards are regularly reviewed and embed across the company
- Managing and responding to cyber security incidents
- Penetration testing facilitation, security architecture, vulnerability scanning, incident response, data loss prevention.
- Security reviews of third party vendors, external service providers and hosting partners
- Report on status against KRIs
- Input into the Architecture process
- Ensure IT Security standards are considered in all projects
- Provide key advice and plan initiatives encompassing application security
- Ensure solutions are implemented in-line with the design
- Input into the IT Road Map
- Ensure defined change management processes and procedures are followed Experience Required:
- Proven knowledge and operational experience of market leading security products/technologies including intrusion detection/prevention, DLP, SIEM, vulnerability management, DDoS, encryption/data handling and mobile device management
- Understanding and knowledge of infrastructure and technologies including networks, Servers (physical/virtual), voice, databases, storage (NAS/SAN), shared services, web, e-mail, desktops, cloud security
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant compliance, control frameworks and information security standards such as ISO 27001, ISO 27002, PCI-DSS and NIST
- Hands on approach to IT Security Management
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong team player with a track record of working effectively in a collaborative environment
