A Software company building a high-tech mobile application are looking for a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join their company on a 3-month freelance project. The company are based in Berlin and would like the DevOps engineer to work onsite with their IT development team.The company have international and multicultural development team so whether you already live in Berlin or are happy to move there for the three-month project you are welcome to apply. You must speak good English and be eligible to be a freelancer in Germany (e.g. be a EU citizen, or be a permanent resident of Germany, or hold a German freelance visa).
The role will be responsible for working on a project building a hybrid AWS and on-premise cloud. This will be done by merging several demographically distributed data centres to a central data zone. You will be working in a team with 6 backend software engineers and a project manager.
The successful DevOps /Infrastructure Engineer will have the following experience: -
• Proven experience in containerization (Docker and / or Kubernetes)
• Proven experience in scripting & templating (Bash, Ansible, Terraform, Packer)
• Experience in network isolation (Addressing, DNS, VPN, VPC, Routing and HA proxis)
• Experience in Nginx, Apache Tomcat, Postgres, Java, Maven, Gradle would be highly beneficial
• Experience in Cyber Security & Cyber Threat Intelligence
