Job Description As a Calypso business analyst your main responsibilities will be
- Leading the transition of the support of Calypso IT operations from the incumbent IT team
- Prepare and manage the transition plan across multiple functional areas supported by Calypso
- Build and mentor a team of Calypso product specialist supporting in the transition and steady state operations

Responsibility - In-depth, hands-on involvement directly with IT and operations for transition planning and execution.
- Work with incumbent team to understand the business processes supported by Calypso and Calypso Collateral
- The gather the understanding of business process supported by Calypso through documentation, meetings, workshops etc.
- Support the transition plan for migration of support from incumbent team
- Identify and document the business requirements, and with the customer project/systems team to implement those requirements. Follow up with the users to test the implementation, achieve signoff, and continue to move the system toward go-live.
- Work hands on with the system to configure it and test it to ensure that it meets the business requirements.
- This will include areas such as Trade execution, Trade processing, clearing and settlement, risk management, Reporting
- Also areas such as setup of market data, including zero curves, probability curves, correlation matrices, dividend curves, etc., and setup of pricing parameters and trade capture options that drive the valuation of trades based on the market data.
- In addition, it will include the configuration of rules-based scenarios for capturing market and credit risk, general multi-factor sensitivity analyses, and P&L

Experience - Experience of running workshops and engage with stakeholders at different levels of seniority
- Ability to liaise with development and testing teams, manage the testing lifecycle including defect management
- Ability to deliver training both adhoc training of business users as well as white board training on site to Calypso clients
- Understanding of project methodologies (must be comfortable delivering tasks under both Waterfall and Agile methodologies)
- Strong background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science or technology

Skill sets (Domain) - Understanding of Capital Markets products (FX, Money Market Instruments, Fixed Income, Repo, and Equity)
- Understanding of the trade life cycle and processes related to Front Office / Middle Office / Back office
