Senior Security ConsultantSenior Security Consultant urgently required on a contract basis to work in Reading.
You will provide delivery leadership and pre-sales support within the Cyber Defence consultancy team primarily aligned to clients in the UK/EU region and mentor less experienced members of the PSS team. The ideal candidate will provide the lead in major delivery projects acting as a security design authority and team lead, ensuring that solutions remain in scope and are aligned to agreed business requirements.
You will deliver smaller stand-alone projects and work with internal and external stake holders to understand business requirements and prepare appropriate technical solution designs at both high and low levels. You will also support the definition, scope and estimation of PSS security services, whereby you will be required to support the preparation of RFP responses and SOWs in areas that relate directly to PSS security services. Extensive experience in security consulting, design and delivery experience is desired.
Required Technical Skills (at least 3 or 4 of the following technologies):
- Network FWs: Cisco ASA & Check Point (preferred), Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet
- Security Devices: Bluecoat Proxy (preferred), F5 ASM, Zscaler, Cisco IronPort,
- IDP/IPS: FirePower/Sourcefire IPS/IDS (preferred), McAfee, vulnerability
- Scanners: Skybox, Nessus, Nikto, Qualys
- APT: FireEye, Palo Alto WildFire; Bluecoat Solara
- Identity & Access Management: Cisco ISE
Experience in ITIL frameworks - Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, routing, switching, WAN, LAN)
