Middleware - System Administrator
Start Date: ASAP
6 months Contract
My client is looking for an Middleware - System Administrator based in multiples location in Europe.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Extensive experience on Middleware technologies Administration, Upgrades and Enhancements
Good experience on Unix Scripting and Automation
Provide 24x7 Support and willing to work in shifts
Key Responsibilities/Role:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Working with application developers to fully utilize built in product functionality
Very good knowledge of UNIX environments and commands
Handling Middleware Products Installation and configuration
Handling Middleware Products Upgrades and Enhancements
Handling Middleware End-of-Life Migrations, Technology Lifecycle Management and Patching
Handling Application Setup, Enhancements and Deployments
Handling Risk Management and DR Setup & Testing
Implement continuous operational, product and service improvements, project deliverables
Knowledge Management - Create and maintain Production Documentation (Run Book, KI, etc)
Skills:
Should have good experience in Unix/Linux platforms and Shell Scripting
Should have extensive experience in Middleware products (WebSphere, IHS 6, 7, 8.5, Apache Tomcat 2.X, and MQ 6,7,8, Jboss, ServiceMix & Apache Kafka)
Good knowledge BigData Technologies & Cloud environment (Azure& AWS)
Good to have knowledge on Application Monitoring tools (AppDynamics & Splunk)
Should have good knowledge on SSL Certs, IBM WebSeal, Oracle iPlanet, TFIM, Policy Servers, LDAP, TAMeB
Good Understanding of DNS, Networks and troubleshooting
Should possess Problem Solving mindset
Should possess good communication and soft skills to engage business stakeholders
Good understanding of ITIL, Banking domain and application development - Desirable
