About our client:
Our customer is a well-known member of the international banking industry.
For their branch in Vienna we are looking for an ambitious and service-oriented Data Warehouse Application Manager (m/f) who feels comfortable with technical challenges as well as with Business request.
Your Tasks:
- DWH Management and its supporting applications along SLAs
- Data delivery checks and alert handling
- DWH monitoring and fixing bugs
- Analysis of reports by data consumers and deliverers
- Analyses of impact, test and implement solution measures, e.g. hotfixes, workarounds, reloads, etc.
- Collaboration with Business Units, developers and analysts to define solutions
- Continous improvements of services processes and tools (quality-monitoring, processes, alerts, KPIs, etx.
- Creation of service-reports and presentations
Our Requirements:
- Higher School Certificate; University degree in a technical study with an economic focus or vice versa (e.g. Business Computer Science) or comparable is a plus
- More than 5 yeas of experience in IT departments with focus on DWH
- Hands-on experience with managing, monitoring and support of DWH applications (including job scheduling)
- At least basic understanding of the banking industry for good judgment on the job is required
- Willingness to occasionally work on weekends or night shifts for maintenance purposes
- Excellent command of English and German
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills, resilient team player working well under pressure (ability to work in cross-functional environments with tight deadlines)
- Very experienced with Office applications (Word, Exls, PPT, etc.)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
