PCB Design Engineer - Austria - Long Term Contract - Rates/Negotiable
My Client, a market leader in their sector are looking to recruit a PCB Design Engineer on a long term contract basis.
The role can be described as follows:
Role:
- Leading the requirements phase aligned with global project teams like NFC (Near Field Communications) systems, software, analog and digital teams o defining the global board strategy based on consolidated requirements
- Providing board concepts and schematic designs on use case level
- Actively reviewing layout designs o close cooperation with layout engineers and board project manager to ensure on-time deliveries
- Validation of board designs and optimization for a high-performance NFC interface o providing technical solutions for board related challenges
Skills:
- Have solid understanding of printed circuit board (PCB) design
- Have PCB simulation skills (R, L, C over frequency)
- Have solid understanding of: analog and digital interfaces
- Have solid understanding of multilayer, supply and grounding concepts
- Have solid understanding of: schematics definition and component selection
Experience:
- Have 5 or more years of experience o have knowhow in PCB test methodologies and manufacturing flows
- Have software skills: Cadence Allegro, Eagle o might have NFC and/or high frequency RF skills
- Well organized with accurate working style and team player mindset o have excellent command of written and spoken Englishovide Technical University, FH, HTL
