Professional Software Engineer for DevOps

Scope of Work: full time
Location: Vienna, Austria
TASKS:
- Contributes to innovation projects providing product functionality as well as infrastructure solutions
- Automates provisioning of, deployment to and management of test and production environments of our analytical financial services solution
- Closely works together with product development teams and operators
- Designs and implements Shell Scripts (bash) for Solaris and Linux for deployment and test automation
- Consolidates existing environments to the new standards
- Writes technical documentation
SKILLS:
- Excellent Shell Scripting know how
- Excellent knowledge of Linux RedHat EE and Solaris
- Profound experience in implementing test automation and automatic deployment
- Good knowledge of at least one programming language (preferably Java)
- Very good knowledge of Oracle administration, SQL and PL/SQL is an advantage
- Good knowledge of software design methods and techniques
- Good overview of open source tools (or tool chain) in the area of continuous delivery and test automation
- Acts largely self-reliant within the components he/she is responsible for
- Ability to organize himself
- Excellent command of English
