Tasks:
Design overall solution strategy for given product by choosing how technology can be used to solve a given business problem.
Decide which framework, platform, or tech-stack can and will be used to create a solution.
Define how the application will look from architectural point of view, define what the modules will be, and how they interact with each other.
Find strategies how to deal with non-functional requirements and answer questions like how the system will scale for the future and how it can be maintained.
Figuring out the risk in third-party frameworks/platforms and architecture decisions compared to with different alternatives.
Communicate the solution architecture to the development team and other stakeholders in an appropriate way.
Assess technical impact of new business requirements.
Establish guidelines and rules for development.
Interface to internal IT department.
