Beschreibung

We are looking for a freelance Senior WebMethods Developer for our client in the insurance sector.

Start: 15th of September 2021
Project duration: end of 2021 with option for extension
Location: Vienna /remote


Job Description and major tasks:

Develop integration services using Flow and Java languages on the webMethods platform
Design and implement SOAP and REST-based APIs
Secure applications against hacking attacks and data theft
Perform application maintenance (implement change requests, fix bugs)
Perform peer programming and review
Prepare and monitor deployments to other stages (test, pre-production, production)
Write Unit and Integration tests
Adopt and support best practices within the technology domain.
Communicate with vendor’s RnD department in case of webMethods platform defects.
Coach and mentor other members of the development team

Requirements:

Experience working with webMethods version 10.x
• Experience in using: Integration Server, My webMethods Server, Universal Messaging
• Experience in designing processes using BPM
• Experience with the following Adapter Types: JDBC, SAP, MQ
Experience in designing and developing APIs
• Experience in building messaging-based integrations
• Experience using testing tools: SoapUI, Postman, etc.
• Experience in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests
• Experience with Version Control Systems (CVS, git)
• Experience in implementing file transfer solutions (File Polling Ports)
Experience in using the following SAG components: WxConfig, WmTestSuite, ISCCR
• Experience using the EntireX adapter
• Experience with Trading Networks
• Experience with webMethods Business Rules
• Experience with webMethods API Gateway
• Experience with integration projects

Technical and business skills:

Knowledge in developing task applications using CAF
Ability to use XSD, XML, XSLT/XPath and JSON
CI/CD knowledge (Jenkins, UrbanCode, ABE, WmDeployer)
Understanding of canonical data models
Knowledge of Integration design patterns
Strong interest in clean design and architecture of large-scale software systems
Knowledge of the Insurance domain
