Job Description:
Data Lake DevOps/DataOps consultant
Activities:
Integration of Group Data Catalog solution (product Alation) in AWS (AWS Linux) and configuring PingFederate, Ping ID (from company Ping Identity)
You continuously improve the installed product Alation during short iterations while ensuring a working software at any time
You design, implement, test and deploy metadata bridges based on ETL (Extract Transform Load) jobs
You connect new metadata data sources from head office and our international units and make them available our users
You support and train our users
You solve IT infrastructure issues, ensure IT security measures are fulfilled and solve technical issues
You optimize technical workflows for cost effective cloud usage
You act as a trusted partner for our 15 international units (align requirements, detect synergies and remove contradictions)
Requirements:
Expertise in Linux operating systems (CentOS, Amazon Linux , Ubuntu)
In depth and demonstrable knowledge of AWS Linux and AWS Lambda
professional experience (hands-on) with various Database technologies (PostgreSQL) and ideally Data Lake (AWS/S3)
experience in Terraform with EC2 instances
Programming skills, Phyton experience (ideally Django) and experienced in scripting RESTful API, Postman for API Testing Automation
You have basic knowhow with ETL tools
