Our client is an international financial services provider, serving companies and private clients in a wide range of industries in many European countries. To support the existing team, our customer is currently looking for a Java Developer (f/m/x).These exciting tasks are waiting for you:
Working in a highly motivated international agile team
Focus on latest technologies to bring IT solutions to the next level
Integration and development of professional software for the finance industry
Design, build and maintenance of efficient, reusable, and reliable code using state-of-the-art integration
technologies
Implementation of automated unit tests
Ensuring that the knowledge is shared and documented
Working in close cooperation with Software Architects, Test Engineers and Business Analysts
Work closely together with business do deliver value in agile and adoptive environment
Taking end to end responsibility for changes throughout delivery pipeline
Your experience so far:
More than 5 years professional experience in integration development with Java or C# with integration
patterns
Professional experience of relational databases (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Adequate technical education (Technical School or University degree)
Practical experience with Scrum/Kanban, Software Configuration Management and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (e.g. GIT/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Teamscale)
Good knowledge in API definition languages (OpenAPI, Swagger, Yaml)
Good experience with microservice architecture, container management (Docker, Kubernetes) and event streaming architecture (Apache Kafka, Apache Pulsar)
You are used to take responsibility for your clean code, think end-to-end and openly share information and your knowledge
You are eager to understand the underlying brokerage business
Knowledge of FIX protocol and low-latency requirements is a plus
Experience in the FinTec space / finance & banking area is a plus
Proficient in English (minimum B2-level); German is a plus
