The TIBCO Stack of Orinoco-DE is hosted on MITSA environment. The underlying SLES 11 OS and Servers will get incompliant on April 1 st 2022 and should be migrated to new OS on new servers. The servers will be Network segregated, so that that Orinoco is compliant according polices and Audit findings. In parallel databases of Orinoco will be migrated to new servers and upgraded to Oracle 19c.SERVICE DESCRIPTION
TEC Refresh of the """"legacy"""" Orinoco Core Application Servers and Application from SLES11 to RHEL and migration from IBM Mitsa to internal VHS hosting. Oracle Upgrade for the databases from 12 to 19c on IBM eGrid. Migration must be performed for CIT, SIT, UAT, PROD until beginning of August 2021. There is no extension of project timeline possible. The possible candidates are ALREADY FAMILIAR WITH THE SETUP OF OS/TIBCO AND THE ORINOCO CORE APPLICATION. (experienced Senior Engineers that are already familiar and used to work on the Orinco Stack as enigneers for min. 2-3 years).
The project start by mid/end of January and needs to GoLIve at the beginning of August., no postponement possible .
TASKS incl. SKILLS
a.) TASKS
Setup Linux application@VHS Servers,incl. Setup of reuqired Rights and Roles/Users.Setup Linux application, view, control Linux user, following current Orinoco dbPassport User / Netgroups design. Setup required brokered solution (e.g. Powerbroker, Gatekeeper, …) to access server.Current filesystem pattern should be adopted and set up on new servers
e.g. SQLPlus needs to be installed, and configured to database services. Further basic software needs to be determined and installed, too. shared volume needs to be mounted to all VMs of one functional environment, incl. backup of files has to be configured. Ensure that All relevant Orinoco schema, its basic configuration (TBS size, DB Links,…) are installed on new Oracle databases and available. Reuqired human user schemas are in place with read only access to application schemas following Orinoco design. Help to determine a migration strategy and tools to partly migrate existing database, db´s are designed, confirmed and implemented. SetUp a load balancer, LB is available to be configured to access and load balance http traffic to new servers. A procedure to reuse and migration existing alias DNS items from old to new load balancer should be determined and in place. Known access to and from new VHS server has to be checked, and in case of Firewall issues the ACR procedures have to be performed. Existing StartUpScripts fpr Orinoco Application (init.d) modified: In case of a server restart, the Linux VM should call a Orinoco startup script, like today on Orinoco environment. Update all relevant existing documentation and HowTos. Enable and verify TIBCOinstall scripts / installation and startup. Fix determined issues Install and configure TIBCO and functional Orinoco releases. Test and Fix for complete Stack from OS/Network up to Tibco Level. Support for Orinoco Application Colleagues during Application Migration

During Corona, work is mostly done remotely. On-site attendance for meetings may be required from time to time. A post-Corona working method has not yet been determined.
