For our client in the sports and entertainment sector, we are looking for a candidate on a position of Solution Architect.As a solution architect, you’ll act as an integrator between business demands and technology solutions. In this cross-functional role, you’ll deliver solution designs, define system requirements, implement runtime platforms and provide input to support procedures. You’ll perform the analysis and support on effective diagnosis during incident and problem resolutions.
Responsibilities:
SOLUTION ARCHITECTURE
- Deliver the solution design for exciting projects in a global scale
- Work in mixed project teams with business and IT as a Solution Architect subject matter expert
- Support in the preparation and execution of RFI/RFP processes
- Facilitate a smooth build-to-run transition during project execution
ARCHITECTURE MANAGEMENT
- Guide and derive decisions for strategic topics together with IT senior management
- Derive reference architectures / patterns / templates
- Contribute to the overall IT strategy
- Maintain solutions and applications landscape documentation
TECHNICAL CONSULTING
- Provide technical advice for other project and service stakeholders
- Assist with analyzing and troubleshooting of incidents and issues of existing services
- Coach vendors as well as employees to use existing and newly developed runtime platforms
PLATFORM & SERVICE OWNERSHIP
- Design and implementation of runtime platforms (e.g. SAP, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS) derived from the various project demands
- Coordinate and manage external partners and vendors
- Develop roadmaps and guidelines
- Budget responsibility and budget planning
Requirements:
-Experience with some of the following technologies like Docker/Kubernetes, CID, Data Science and ML, and Cloud platforms (MS Azure or AWS)
-Experience in IT project management or technical project management
-Broad IT knowledge and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies like REST/GraphQL, API-Management, Serverless, Machine Learning, Scrum/Kanban
-Good knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, C Sharp, etc.)
