Automotive expert- C/C++- Freelance- ASPICE- 12 months- up to €85p/h- Frankfurt- HessenMy client is looking for an experienced freelancer to join their team on an automtive project. They are looking to bring someone on site for up up to 12 months. This role can be worked as 80% on site and 20% remotely in the first 6 months before increasing the remote element from then onwards.
The perfect candidates strengths will lie in the following:
Experiences / Competences:
- High degree of experience in development of diagnosis functions of embedded systems
- Around 5 years of working experience ideally in automotive industry and vehicle diagnosis
- Programming skills in C, C++
- Architecture and concept description in UML
- Knowledge of diagnosis interfaces, protocols and standards (CAN, ISOTP, UDS, DOIP, ODX)
- Experience in Software update and deployment methods
- Practical experience in implemetation of automated test applications
- Software/System development process (eg ASPICE, CMMI)
- Agile Methodology (eg SCRUM)
- Very good English language skills
- Basic competences in project management
Job Description:
- Requirements analysis and concept creation for electronic control unit's diagnosis and update functionality on basis of standardized components
- Implementation of embedded software components with agile methods for diagnosis
- Quality assurance for developed components with module and integration tests
- Test environment development for automated testing of diagnosis interfaces
- Defect analysis and resolution
- Functional responsibility for all diagnosis related software topics
- Managing interfaces to relevant suppliers and internal stakeholders
