Senior Data Engineer

I am working with an international Fintech company that has recently secured funding and is about to kick off phase two of their international
expansion.

Duration: 6 months
Remote Work: 1-2 days a week.

• Experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis. Good understanding of AWS services like Lambda and SNS.
• Strong grasp of SQL, MySQL a plus.
• Data engineering experience in Python, Spark, Scala etc.
• You have 3-5 years of data warehousing and/or data modelling experience.
• Experience with big data technologies, such as Spark, Redshift, EMR, etc, and ETL orchestration packages such as Airflow.
• You have 2-4 years of Python experience under your belt.
• Experience developing and maintaining APIs a plus.
• Experience with Snowflake a plus.
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills, and work well on teams of all sizes with representatives from a diverse set of technical backgrounds.
• You have a passion for what you do.
