For our customer in North Rhine-Westphalia we are looking for an Data Analyst for Strategic Decisions (m/f/d).
Your Tasks:
- Quantitative data analysis, problem solving, story-telling and the ability to look beyond the numbers and develop deep understanding of how our recommendations impact business objectives
- End-to-end management of analytical modeling projects; ensure quality, accuracy, relevance and consumption of analytical results and recommendations
- Anticipate client’s unarticulated needs and formulate solutions to business issues
- Contribute to new business pilots/proposals and products/solutions development
- Perform analytics and develop models to monitor innovation trends and improve decision making for Innovation
- Deliver analytics and insights to inform Innovation roadmap strategies that support the key growth initiatives
- Pull and develop customer analytics to drive Project Selection and Go To Market tactics in support of strategic roadmap
- Partner with key stakeholders specifically within Strategy & Innovation and leverage data and analytics to drive competitive business outcomes
- Proactively identify opportunities to evolve the customer data and analytics roadmap based on needs of key stakeholders
Your Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in analytics in a Digital and/or eCommerce environment, strong knowledge of the digital industry (products, technologies, solution providers, commercial models, trends)
- 3+ years of professional experience in an international & cross-functional environment
- Excellent knowledge in applied statistics, distributions, statistical testing, data mining and machine learning algorithms
- Excellent coding skills using common data science toolkits: R and/or Python. Hadoop, NoSQL experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of/experience in tools like Tableau, Microsoft BI, PowerBI, Microstrategy is a plus
- Experience on data aggregations, data models and operationalization of data mining algorithms and data manipulation technologies
- Demonstrate excellent communications skills, both written and spoken, as well as being able to present complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a comfort interacting with clients from the C-suite to marketing managers to technical specialists
