C# Developer - SQL / Back-end - This is a long term contract opportunity to join one of our Basel based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Excellent C# development experience
- ASP.Net and SQL Server skills
- Practical experience in back-end development is a priority, understanding of financial instruments related to asset management is of advantage
- Ability to work independently to deliver high quality
- Languages: fluent English, both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Interfacing with an external calculation application and store the data in an existing internal database
- Exporting data into a star-schema based database
- Designing and performing quality checks on the received data, including time series analysis
- Processing and implementing incoming data from various sources such as databases, Excel files, PDFs, CSV and Bloomberg
- Performing a range of calculation transformations in python to the data to produce aggregated reporting results
