Java Developer (100%)Java-EE/JBoss EAP/JMS/JPA/Maven/Jenkins/Websphere - ZurichProject/Role:
For our customer, a renowned Banking company in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Java Developer with experience in server-side Java development, experience with performance-critical systems experience. The role is contract position initially for 6 months (with strong possibility of extension) in Zurich Switzerland.
Main Tasks:
- Optimization and redesign of a Java application for processing trades.
- Optimization of the processed trades per time unit.
- Documentation of changes and test support.
- Analysis of problems and solution finding
- Quick comprehension, analytical and conceptual thinking
- High quality awareness and precise working methods
- Team player and customer-oriented
Requirements:
- At least 5 years project experience as Java developer in recent years
- Very good experience with Java and Java-EE (JBoss EAP 7.x) knowledge (JMS, JPA, ...)
- Experience working with IBM Websphere MQ is an advantage
- Good experience working with server-side Java development and experience with performance-critical systems
- Experience with Build Automation Tools (Maven) and Continuous Integration (Jenkins)
- Problem-solving and Strong analytical skills
Education/Experience:
-University Degree in computer science or further education (HF/FH) equivalent qualification
