IT Network Engineer - Data Center (Vienna)
Data Center Network Engineers required to join Global Blue Chip.
Location: Austria (Vienna)
Technical expertise: Routing&Switching + Datacenter with main focus on Nexus are the most important topics, followed by security.
This is an excellent opportunity for a long term contract working with an innovative company looking for candidates that are passionate about technology
Essential:
- Expert level knowledge in two (2) of the following and strong knowledge in all other areas of: IP internetworking LAN Switching, Datacenter-Nexus and NxOS, IP Telephony, SAN, CDN, Optical, Wireless, IPCC. WAN protocols, IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), Cisco Security Solutions, Cisco IOS and IOS XR operating systems.
- Expert level internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network environment.
- Broad technical expertise around the three pillars of data center infrastructure: network, storage and Servers
- Will be able to design, deploy & support Cisco data center products with hands-on experience in operation and configuration of Cisco network devices (eg Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, Storage Networks, Application Optimizers and Servers)
- Nexus 5K, 7K & Catalyst platforms product architecture knowledge and hands on experience
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
