My client is looking for an experienced Project Lead to lead a team of 3 consultants on a large data migration from Oracle 11g over to Cassandra.
The first focus of on two use cases...
1.Notification Module
2.Workflow engine and module
The client host now and will host also Cassandra in their own Data Centers. They have 3 Data Centers so that means we will need to deploy to 3 Cassandra clusters
It is Approx. 2 TB of data that needs to be migrated
Oracle now is set up as follows
1.One main DB (Production)
2.One Standby
3.One Remote Standby
It is for the 2 use cases 10 tables that need to be designed and then migrated in Cassandra
In total the whole project will migrate 30 Oracle tables where those 2 TB of data resides
You will need to be onsite for the duration of the project.
