About our Client:
Our client is a big global player with headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
Data Centre Operations (DCO) is a global department supporting and maintaining the IT infrastructure worldwide.
For Vienna central office we are searching for an experienced IT System Administrator (f/m).
Responsibilities:

Operate and support global Database servers and Web based platforms
-
Ensure high quality infrastructure support based on DCO Service Catalog, DCO internal procedures,corporate standards and SLAs for all services in his / her areas of responsibility

Proactive systems monitoring and maintenance to increase system uptime and availability

Provide 3rd level support incident troubleshooting

Assist and work in close cooperation with global technical teams to define, maintain and improve corporate infrastructure standards
Qualifications & Experience:
-
Higher-Level secondary industrial college (HTL) or University degree in the area of Computer sciences or related field

Solid IT technical background (Microsoft Certified System Administrator nice to have)
-
5+ years of experience with implementing and operating complex enterprise IT technical solutions
-
Fundamental knowledge on: Microsoft Server environments, Database technologies (Microsoft SQL 2008/R2, 2012, 2014) and Web technologies (IIS, SharePoint, JBOSS)

Good Knowledge on: Oracle Databases, Microsoft System Centre (Configuration Manager/Operations Manager), Microsoft Azure and Automation

Fluent in English, written and spoken

Maintain a high level of technical knowledge and proficiency in order to constantly improve quality of work and promote innovation

Team player with outstanding communication skills

High level of analytical and organizational skills

Ability to work in a structured and precise way
