Java Backend Developer - Contract - Vienna, Austria - €60-€70 an hour - ASAP
Job Position: Java Backend Developer
Location: Vienna, Austria
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract (12 months - with scope to extend)
Rate: €60-€70 an hour (depending on experience)
Montash have been engaged with an international E-commerce company based in Vienna, who are seeking multiple Backend Java Developers. They have identified a need for freelancers to help on new application development projects as well as developing existing applications. You will be working in an agile environment amongst a vibrant team.
They are looking for Developers who can contribute to the full software cycle from receiving requirements through to production therefore ideally you are someone who also performs specification, analysis and design tasks.
Due to the location of this project, please only apply if you are eligible to work in Austria in a freelance capacity.
Required:
- At least 5 years' experience in software development in Java (less years if at Junior Level)
- At least 3 years experience with Service Oriented Architecture - SOAP, REST (less years if at Junior Level)
- Other tech of particular interest: Hibernate, Spring, NoSQL, MongoDB, Oracle
- Practical experience with build, test and continuous integration processes and supporting tools (Maven, JUnit or Bamboo/Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Javascript
- Agile/Scrum
- Fluent German (at least C1 level or above) - this is a must!
- Pro-active person with good communication skills
