For one of our interesting clients (banking and financial service industry) we are currently looking for a Technical Lead Enterprise DWH. It's a longterm fulltime freelance project, that starts with December. You have to work onsite in Vienna.Tasks:
-Leading a multi-cultural software implementation team (20 people) and being part of an international agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery team
-Evaluation of performance
-Estimation of the development and testing efforts
-Planning of the software releases
-Asses alternative technical solutions and supports in decision making
-Advances efficiency improvements throughout the whole SDLC
-Ensures the knowledge is shared and documented
Qualifications:
-
-Adequate technical education (Technical School or University degree)
-Strong people and project management skills
-At least 5 years of experience in designing large/complex software architecture and applications, especially in the area of DWH
-Good experience with data integration patterns and tools (e.g. ETL/ELT), ODI is an asset
-Strong knowledge of the SDLC, especially managing multiple releases
-Very good data modelling and SQL know how and knowledge ofdifferent database technologies (e.g. RDBMS), Teradata is a plus
-Knowledge of Metadata-Driven DWHs is an advantage
-Experience with CD / DevOps methodology and good overview ofrelated tools (or tool chains)
-Very good experience in requirements engineering
-Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
-Banking know how is an assetSoft Skills
-Pro-active attitude, team-oriented and excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
-Excellent communication and presentation skills in a multi-culturalenvironment
-Very good command of English (mandatory); German is a plus
