Proteus Europe is searching for a Java developer on a long term contract basis for one of our clients based in Austria.
Our Client : -
You will be working within an important Austrian Bank that provides wide range of financial services to its customers across Austria. It is part of a larger group of Banking service providers and is well respected company.
Your New role:-
Role and responsibilities:
- Your commitment to develop professional web application software for the finance industry in an international environment
- Excellent know-how of Java web development technologies
- Writing well designed, documented and testable Java code
- Unit testing of the developed software components
- Assist the Software Architect in designing the software solution
- Being part of an international, distributed team
- Write technical documentation
Your Skills and experience:-
Essential Skills:-
- 4.5 years professional experience in SW development
- Excellent Java programming skills (Java 8, GWT, Spring, Hibernate)
- Good know-how of CI- and source code management- tools (Gradle, SVN, SonarQube)
- SQL- and database know-how (preferable Oracle)
- Working knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns
- Agile mind-set (Scrum)
- Experience in finance and banking area is a plus
Desirable Skills:-
- Pro-active attitude and team orientation
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good command of English (mandatory)
- Any German is a bonus (Just for social chatting)
