Seeking a Database Administrator, on behalf of a market leading, international organization, to work on-site in Vienna, Austria. An initial 6 month rolling contract, with further extension as the project is 18 months.
Requirements:
* Teradata Administration
* Performance Optimization
* Minimum 5 years of Teradata experience in an IT department
* Advance Teradata Certification preferable TD14.x or higher
* High knowledge of Teradata Systems and Teradata related products
* Profound knowledge of SQL and Query Tuning
* High level of communication and facilitation skills
* Team player, service orientation, high level of commitment and motivation
* Analytical, result-oriented and structured way of working
* Good knowledge of ITIL is appreciated, but not mandatory
* High-level problem solving and technical experience.
* Extensive experience in administering large databases
