Our client:
Our client is an international financial institution and for it´s premisis in Vienna we are currently looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Analyst for Finance/ Regulatory Reporting and Accounting in the Banking area.
In order to strengthen a current team, we are looking for an ambitious and service-oriented Senior Business Analyst (m/f) for Innovations in the Area of Regulatory Reporting and Accounting/ IFRS.
Your tasks and responsibilities:

Collect and detail Business and Regulatory Requirements.

Be able to analyses and discuss complex functional requirements with Stakeholders and document them in “Business Specification Documents”

Perform data gap analysis in the Source Systems and the Bank Steering Data Warehouse

Be able to deliver detailed Demand Descriptions in both “Business language” and “IT language”
-
Transform requirements to detailed IT-specifications / solution-designs for Outgoing Interfaces from out Data Warehouse to the Analytical Systems for Regulatory Reporting

Perform self-contained tests, especially functional tests and regressions tests - Testcase Design and Definition, Test Data Alignment, Execution of Tests, Defect Analysis

Support the defect management process in all topics related to the respective business area

Maintain all related documents and concepts
Your qualifications:
-
Minimum 8 years of experience in business or IT department, preferable in the IT Accounting & Reporting or Controlling/ Risk area of a bank with focus on Regulatorytopics (GMP / FMS / FinRep / ...)

Minimum 5 years of experience as a IT Business Analyst

Comprehensive knowledge of the most important banking products in the overall bank steering context

Hands on experience with specifications of business requirements and interface mappings (DWH to outgoing Interface)

Experience in Datawarehouse (DWH) topics

Experience in data modeling

Hands-on experience with databases and good SQL skills

Experience in testing (business testing, regression testing, ...) and defect-analysis

Fluent knowledge of English; German is appreciated

Good communication, presentation and facilitation skills
