My client is a major European Bank and they require a Certified Scrum Master to join them on a contract basis until the end of 2018, at least.
You will work alongside Agile Coaches in order to establish more sustainable agile teams. The Scrum Master should coach the working teams and ensure the adherence to the bank's scrum methodology and other agile practices.
Key Tasks:
- Guiding the team and Product Owner on how to use Scrum practices and values
- Guiding the team to become a self-organising team
- Facilitating discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
- Assisting with internal and external communication, actively share information
- Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and
maintaining the Product Backlog
- Act in close alignment with the RBI Agile Coach for the respective adaptive setting
- Facilitate the Planning/Review/Retrospective Meetings
- Ensure transparency of the team performance to in- and outside using the Burndown Charts and
other reporting tools
Key Skills Required:
- Scrum Master certification
- Good skills and knowledge of servant Leadership, facilitation, conflict resolution,
continuous improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
- Excellent Knowledge of Scrum methodology
- Knowledge of other agile approaches: KANBAN, XP, DevOps, etc.
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
- Experience applying agile techniques like: User Stories, Story Points, Continuous
Integration, test automation, Impact Map, etc.
- Banking experience
