Technical Lead for Enterprise Data Warehouse (m/w)

In order to lead our clients' implementation team of EDWH, we are looking for a strong and experienced person who will be able to coordinate 25 team members in this long term project.
Your tasks
- Lead a distributed, multi-cultural technical software implementation team of approx. 25 people (Software Architects, Engineers and Testers)
- Evaluate people performance
- Estimate the development and testing efforts
- Plan software releases
- Assess alternative technical solutions and support in decision making
- Drive efficiency improvements throughout the whole SDLC
- Ensure that the knowledge is shared and documented
- Being part of an international Agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery team
Your qualification
- Adequate technical education (Technical School or University degree)
- Strong people and project management skills
- More than 5 years of experience in designing large/complex software architecture and applications, especially in the area of Data Warehouses
- Good experience with data integration patterns and tools (eg ETL/ELT), ODI is an asset
- Strong knowledge of the SDLC, especially managing multiple releases
- Very good Datamodelling and SQL know how and knowledge of different database technologies (eg RDBMS), Teradata is a plus
- Knowledge of Metadata-Driven Data Warehouses is an advantage
- Experience with CD/DevOps methodology and good overview of related tools (or tool chains)
- Very good experience in requirements engineering
- Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban
- Very good command of English
