About our customer:

Our customer is an international member of thebanking industry.

For their branch in vienna we are looking foran Technical Lead Enterprise DWH (m/f) to lead a distributed, multi-cultural technical softwareimplementation team of approx. 20 people (Software Architects, Engineersand Testers).

Your tasks:

• Estimates the development and testing efforts and plans the software releases

• Evaluates people performance

• Leads a distributed, multi-cultural technical software implementation team of approx. 20 people (Software Architects, Engineers and Testers)

• Assesses alternative technical solutions and supports in decision making

• Drives efficiency improvements throughout the whole SDLC

• Ensures that the knowledge is shared and documented

• Being part of an international Agile/Scrum/Kanban delivery team

Your skills:

• Adequate technical education (Technical School or University degree)

• More than 5 years of experience in designing large/complex software architecture and applications, especially in the area of Data Warehouses

• Good experience with data integration patterns and tools (e.g. ETL/ELT), ODI is an asset

• Strong people and project management skills

• Strong knowledge of the SDLC, especially managing multiple releases

• Very good data modelling and SQL know how and knowledge of different database technologies (e.g. RDBMS), Teradata is a plus

• Knowledge of Metadata-Driven Data Warehouses is an advantage

• Experience with CD / DevOps methodology and good overview of related tools (or tool chains)

• Very good experience in requirements engineering

• Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum/Kanban

• Banking know how is an asset

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in a multi-cultural environment

• Very good command of English (mandatory). German is a plus
