About our customer:

Our customer is an international member of thebanking industry.

For their branch in vienna we are looking foran experienced Java Software Engineer (MIFID II) - (m/f) with commitment to develop professional application software for the finance industry in an international environment.

Your tasks:

• Assist the Software Architect in designing the software solution

• Unit testing of the developed software components

• Write technical documentation

• Writing well designed, documented and testable Java code

• Work in close cooperation with the Software Architect, Test Engineer and Business Analyst

Your skills:

• Adequate technical education (Technical School or suitable University degree)

• 4 years professional experience in software development

• Excellent Java 8 programming skills

• Oracle DB or SQL- and database know-how

• Working experience of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns

• Knowledge in agile mind-set (Scrum)

• Pro-active attitude and team orientation

• Excellent communication skills

• Very good command of English (mandatory)

Plus:

• Experience in finance & banking area is a plus

• Knowledge in Gradle and/or Apache Velocity

• German is a plus
