BI Developer responsibilities include:? Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions (Microsoft Power BI) ? Setting up & improving our DevOps environment ? Creation of comprehensive & optimizing of existing data models ? Presenting information through reports and visualization ? Knowledge transfer to our Junior Developers
Job brief We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to create & optimize BI and analytics solutions that turn Compliance data into knowledge.
In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. You will also pass on your knowledge to our junior developers, we therefore looking for someone who is available onsite in Vienna.
Ultimately, you will enhance our Compliance business intelligence system to help us make better decisions based on data.
Responsibilities
? Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools) ? Design, implement and document data architecture and data modeling solutions, which include the use of relational, dimensional, and NoSQL databases ? Maintain and support data analytics platforms ? Develop unit testing and troubleshooting process ? Evaluate and improve existing BI systems ? Optimize database queries ? Create visualizations and reports for requested projects ? Develop and update technical documentation
Requirements
? Onsite availability Vienna ? Senior experience as a BI Developer or Data Scientist
Experience in banking industry is preferred (esp. Banking Compliance) ? Familiarity with BI technologies (foremost Microsoft Power BI, but also AWS QuickSight, Qlik Sense) ? Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) ? Knowledge in streaming technologies is a plus (real-time data sourcing, eg: Apache Kafka, -Pulsar,..) ? Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
- Place of Work: Vienna - onsite availability 3-5 days (depending on COVID situation)
- Scope of Work: 5 Days a week - Full Time for 2 FTE
- Start: ASAP
- End: Contract duration planned until 31.12.2021 - may be extended
