Fantastic new contract opportunity for an experienced Identity Access Management Specialist with this market leading financial services business based in Bournemouth. Reporting directly into the Service Fulfilment Manager you will take a lead role in helping to manage the identity access management team whilst being hands on from a technical perspective. You will ideally have a strong knowledge of Sail Point and will have experience with PowerShell and automation.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to team members, colleagues and customers in all aspects of Access Management.
- To manage the end to end process of Service Acceptance for new or changed services for Service Fulfilment (Access Management and IT Service Desk). This includes understanding requirements, interpreting them and providing training for the team where necessary and ensuring all support processes and procedures are in place in a timely manner.
- As an active member on project teams, represent the interests of the Access Management team and provide guidance and support where required. Also, interpret their requirements and produce process and procedure documentation for the team.
- Provide consultancy for Internal and External Auditors providing information on Access Management processes and data to support compliance to Industry Standards.
- Continually look for ways to improve services of the team and those associated with it.
- Ensure that CIO and Industry standards (FCA, PRA & ISO27001), processes and procedures are followed.
- Active involvement in audits providing technical guidance and support to auditors when required.
- To understand and comply with the company applied best practice principles of ITIL.
- Contribute to achieving team performance and quality targets .
- Review operational Access Management documentation ensuring that it meets CIO and Industry standards.
Skills Required:
- Sound knowledge of Identity Access Management and proven experience of working within a similar position.
- Experience of developing and implementing Identity Access Management processes and procedures with the ability to interpret data quickly and assess the impact on systems access and security.
- Experience with an identity access management tool such as Sail Point.
- Experience with PowerShell and Automation.
- Experience of providing technical support and training to staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to deal with a wide range of people at all levels including technical specialists, Project Managers, Auditors, suppliers and senior managers.
- A positive outlook with a demonstrable history of delivering continuous improvement.
- ITIL Foundation v3 qualified (desirable)
