Position: Solution Designer / Business Analyst (f/m/d)
Location: Wien (1 day on-site every 2 weeks), fully Remote otherwise
Start: ASAP | Duration: 12 months | Workload: 100%

Project Scope: Our client in the telecommunications sector operates a variety of sales-supporting applications and platforms. To strengthen the cross-functional collaboration between business and IT, we are looking for experienced Solution Designers / Business Analysts who can bridge business requirements and technical solutions effectively.
Role Overview: As a Solution Designer / Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders to analyze and understand the end-to-end processes within the product lifecycle. Your goal is to translate business needs into feasible, scalable, and technically sound solution designs, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and IT deliverables.
Tasks to be performed:
- Learn and understand the full product lifecycle and associated business processes across departments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, refine and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business requirements into conceptual and logical solution designs, considering system interfaces, data flows and dependencies
- Align solution designs with enterprise architecture, data governance and integration standards Support developers and solution architects during implementation by clarifying requirements and solution logic
- Prepare documentation such as process models, user stories, system context diagrams and data models
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to validate understanding and drive consensus on the proposed solutions
- Conduct impact assessments of change requests and contribute to effort estimations
- Actively contribute to the agile team setup (e.g., refinements, sprint plannings, reviews), ensuring continuous alignment and incremental delivery
Required Qualifications:
- Several years of experience as a Business Analyst or Solution Designer in complex IT environments
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle processes, ideally in sales or CRM-related domains - Experience designing end-to-end solutions across systems, including interfaces and data flows Ability to think analytically and structure complex problems into actionable solutions
- Hands-on experience with requirement engineering, process modeling (e.g., BPMN), and creating documentation
- Familiarity with system architecture and integration principles (SOAP/REST APIs, microservices, etc.) is a strong plus - Background in telecom industry is a plus, but not required - Fluent in English (spoken & written) – German is a plus Interested?
