Description:
Development of the EyeScan app for iOS that provides a vision acuity test for the patient. The
patient can start the vision test independently in the EyeScan app and select the eye to be tested. Now, test
signs of various sizes are offered one after the other to determine the threshold of perceptibility. The patient
verbally names the sign, and the input is checked via voice recognition. For the distance measurement we use
a Mix of ARKit, Mediapipe and OpenCV. For hand detection we use Apples Vision Framework.
Quantifiable Achievements:
• Developed distance measurement using face tracking with ARKit.
• Implemented hand detection with Apple Vision.
• Implemented Mediapipe and OpenCV to improve face recognition.
