In 2007 I was first appointed as SW architect and team leader in an embedded/IoT project. Today, I bring experience in many well-known technical roles. I have been a scrum master, technology consultant, and product owner, among others. In the industrial environment, I have years of experience in development according to V-Modell XT and V-Modell like processes.
In the role of project manager, I have set up and successfully completed several fixed price projects. Tailored reporting and process management lead me to success.
I have experience in tailoring holistic process frameworks such as ITIL. As a solution-oriented personality, continuous questioning and definition of measures to improve ongoing software development processes is important to me.
I have never lost sight of software development. In almost every role I have taken, I have always had hands on activities. I describe myself as a technology evangelist with 22 years of experience in Microsoft technologies.
I therefore enjoy software development tasks as much as managerial functions. The decisive factor for me is the added value for my customers. A good human exchange is important to me and the feeling to pull together. The success of your project is close to my heart.

With the onset of the Corona Pandemic, there was a need to restrict access for people to public buildings and events in order to meet a legally required occupancy rate. For this reason, the Trackspot software was developed.
Trackspot is a solution for visitor management. It integrates the admission control of different manufacturers. Statistics can be evaluated and visualized. Via a dashboard the visitor gets to know the current utilization and maximum capacity. Access can be controlled by traffic lights or by blocking turnstiles. The solution includes contract management and billing.

Digitization project - ticketing systems

Beckerbillett GmbH was faced with the task of getting the topic of digitization off the ground for the entire organization. This included a redevelopment of the entire software stack (cash registers, access system, sensors, cameras, management system and cloud migration). The organization was adapted accordingly using the DEV OPS approach. A SAAS reference architecture was developed and serves as a target during incremental implementation using SCRUM.

Customer Engagement Manager - Near Shoring

In 2017, the Present Connection Group founded a spin-up company at the Hamburg location. The goal of the company was to improve sales in the DACH region. For this purpose, an employee with project and sales knowledge was sought.
Role
As Managing Director and Customer Engagement Manager, I was responsible for ensuring the best possible collaboration between the client and all staff and resources provided by Present Connection. The CEM understands the project needs and requirements from a customer perspective and brings important details to the attention of the development team during the development process. The CEM's tasks include:
- Composition and stabilisation of the team and all persons involved in the development
- Knowledge transfer
- Advice on strategic planning, software architecture and software development.
- Support of the Product Owner
