FDA (Fisch Base Austria) is designed to allow standardised input of fish-data. The main purpose of the program is to provide a tool to collect fish-data, which have been sampled in  order to execute the European Water Framework Dirictive (WFD). 
The data is collected in a central database, that calculates the quality of water of lakes and running water.
