Organization & management of the purchasing and logistic activities, personnel management &
responsibility, initiation & realization of process and productivity improvements to guarantee
best possible logistic performance
Major achievements (projects cross-functionally sponsored by VP SCM EMEA, Plant Manager
EMEA and Global Director SCM):
* Black Belt Project improving OTD from avg. 75% to 90% for the Value Stream TETRA
Base Stations with an impact of €500k (by mainly remodeling of the production
planning schedule process in Oracle)
* Management of approx. 20 specific DMAIC Green Belt Projects generating a cost
savings impact of at least €1,0Mio (in avg. €50K each), coaching and mentoring for
example: re-org events after VSM, elimination of inefficient production steps, cycle
time reduction, spaghetti diagram evaluations in order to cut down unnecessary
internal transportation time, system enhancements, etc)
* Event driven cost reductions generating €600k savings; among them, transfer of
specific production steps to companies specialized on employing disabled people (part
of the Motorola Integration program)
