Project:Fusion devices integration and validation
The scope of the project is to create a common bus for all existing fire devices on the
market owned by Honeywell and a solution for implementing new features on demand. I
was part of System Test team which developed most of the test environment and
different modules for simulating real life situations in automated way. The modules and
devices were controlled by python scripts in order to run testcases automatically.
Regarding component testing ,I used my experience to create new test capabilities of
the devices in a new environment. We use NI tools and hardware for data aquisition and
create a common ".dll" for importing most of the function wrote in python for system
testing.
* Create VI's in order to run automated tests
* Aquire signals and measurements and run testcases automatically in Teststand
sequences
* Develop and implement new functions in Labview libraries
* Analyze device requirements to determine test scenarios
* Designing scripts for automated testing
* Executing, debugging own automated scripts and evaluating the results of the
measurements
* Improve and implement new changes in the test process
* Program different uC and make use of sensors and servo-motors for interacting
with the environment(Arduino,RaspberryPi)
Technical Environment:
A customizable length loop with maximum 256 devices,Labview, Teststand , R&D
laboratories including most of the equipments suchs as osciloscopes, multimeteres ,
power supplys , climatic chambers, electronic loads.
The tools for comunication with the loop was OSB TestTool.
