I was the solo engineer and architect of MNH's recruitment platform where developers can be approached
based on their location, as well as skills and programming language experience.

Frontend
Building the full suite of search and filtering tools using Algolia and browser URL parameter management,
for recruiters to find prospective candidates by skill, location or gender.
Tracking the payment status of users and granting recruiters access to certain areas of the website, such
developer profiles, area management and extended features which allowed them to contact candidates
directly through an automated email service.
Deploying and maintaining the site infrastructure through Netlify, including reports on analytics and basic
user authentication and management.

Backend
Integrating with the Linkedin and Github APIs to download user profiles matching criteria based on location
and skill that a user searches for; certain aspects of this data is then incorporated into MNH's custom CMS, in
accordance with both Github & Linkedin's Privacy Policies.
Building a custom matching algorithm to connect individual recruiters and developer profiles when a user
profile is created to suggest certain points to begin the consultation process.
Managing a selection of subscription options with the Stripe dashboard, including incorporating churn and
cart abandonment recovery process.

I was chosen by Simplify to prototype their dashboard frontend for potential users. Ultimately the product was
shut down in beta as a result of lack of funding and work on the site was discontinued.

I was chosen by Minglebox as a contractor with Next.js and React experience to refactor important aspects of
their client and server-side processes, which were using legacy frameworks such as jQuery and Backbone.js.
The project was completed in advance of the deadline and with several auxiliary aspects of the project being
expanded on as their need and private solutions to customers grew over the time period. I eventually declined
a full-time offer in order to focus on roles allowing me to operate in the same timezone I was living in.
