Ms. Kumar is working with teams across Europe towards the Product Goal of Metrohm. She is bringing about new ways of functioning within the team from her knowledge in digital technology and trends. She guides the team to align with the Scrum principles and brings the best from each member. She got herself acclimated to working with AEM and helps with identifying and initiating conversations about risks and cleared impediments before they occur. Ms. Kumar is always aligned with the stakeholders and handle the feedbacks by working with the product owner and help them with prioritizing the feedbacks in the product backlog. Ms. Kumar is working to deliver the analysis that can leverage the data and information needed to generate increased business value.

Ms. Kumar was one of the first Scrum masters brought in to build an agile team from scratch. In the time period she was acting as a Program Manager/ Scrum master, the project was designed and completed following the agile management principles and this brought about the first Agile transformation within the company. During this project, she was interacting with cross-functional and cross-country teams and worked closely with the Product Owner to ease the collaborative constraints which usually occur in cross-company project from different geographic locations. Ms. Kumar brought about many innovative ways to inculcate an agile environment in a legacy waterfall world by conducting multiple workshops. Along with the said responsibilities, she also managed a team of 15 developers under multiple projects.

Acting as a Scrum master, Ms. Kumar worked to make sure there was not an iteration lag during the pandemic and the project acquisition transfer. The project goals were met even during strenuous external factors. This was possible because Ms. Kumar had constant connect with the team and going above and beyond to ease any impediments which arose. She had to improvise in getting the team members to involve in the scrum events by gamifying the process and brought about new ways to practice agility.

Ms. Kumar, proactively, started to work as a proxy Scrum master from India to a Scrum master from US. She gained the knowledge of how to guide the team and learned the crux of the project. Ms. Kumar then got herself certified as an Agile Scrum master and took up the Scrum master role within the team. She worked alongside the US counterpart and successfully delivered multiple MVPs of the project. As this is a long-term project, Ms. Kumar was able to gain knowledge on multiple systems that helped run the project. She approached the lead of these systems and learned in depth about them, which helped her in the future to foresee risks and solve them before they became impediments.

Ms. Kumar worked as a full stack developer with java and ExtJS. She worked to migrate the project GCM2.0 to 3.0 which migrated the frontend from ExtJS to Angular. This process also involved integrating the Apache camel framework.

As a software developer, Ms. Kumar worked in the migration of the UI from iceFaces to Ext JS. She then worked on the end-to-end module for Incident tickets and developed the plug in for filters which replaced the filter in the rest of the project.
