Description: The AFIT System is an intranet Field Inspection system used by various offices of the
Department of Agriculture in Ireland to create, update field inspections.
Technical Roles & Responsibilities:
* Involved in analysis, system design, development, testing and deployment
* Design of the system using Java, J2SE, J2EE, XML, Web Services, Spring and iBatis.
* Development of GUI Module using JSP, JavaScript, JSF, XML and XSLT
* Gained experience in using the JDeveloper, Oracle 9i/10g App Server
* Used Spring IOC, Spring MVC and iBatis for enterprise persistence
* Involved in bug fixing used JUnit and HttpUnit for Unit testing.
* Used CVS for version management and Cruise Control for Continuous Integration
* Agile XP and Pair Programming development methodologywas used
