E.g. MQBB Front-Camera (FC) 52° 2019 started with Passat successfully into 1st SOP. The FC is based on Mobileye EQ4 technology and also used for Skoda and Audi platforms.  In Valeo, the SMART process (IPMA based process standard) is used. This project is set to ASIL A(B) and Automotive Spice Level 2. 
Responsible for the business plan for the overall VW Volume Extension  2019  (RnD Budget > 100M€, Volume >30 MUnits).

Projekt-Manager for FC development Asia

Head of front camera [AD/ADAS]  (RnD Budget > 70M€, Volume > 5MUnits, Core Team >10, Overall Team >150)  - for an Asian OEM.
The Front Camera (FC) includes different functions for ADAS and supports AD functionality combined with the Fusion-ECU. Valeo is using the SMART process (IPMA based process standard).The FC is based on Mobileye EQ4 technology. These projects are set to ASIL B and Automotive Spice Level 2. Lead project for standardization in relation to autonomous driving. Transfer of the project to the local development side.  Components are also used by Competitor Continental. Difficult Situations due to antitrust policy. Multi Project management for international teams all over the world.
I was responsible for the startup, planning, coordination and execution of the generic and customer projects.
I also coordinate the transfer of the complete customer projects  to a Asian country.

Program-Manager for AD/ADAS Research and Standardisation
Jul 2013 – Sep 2016 [3 yrs, 3 mos]
I was responsible to build up project teams and to develop the new active safety platform targeting products for ADAS/AD. The function portfolio contains ACC (adaptive cruise control), AEB (autonomous emergency braking), TJA (traffic jam assist), LC (lane centering), etc. 
The platform considered following sensors:
Front Laser / Front & Corner Radar/ Front Camera/ Ultrasonic Sensors/ LED Sensors

The framework runs on embedded ecu and also on a rapid prototype environment.
I lead the RFI/RFQ answer for all ADAS/AD projects from the business case creation until the offer placement. All customer communication, the technical assessment  and R&D estimation was part of my responsibility. I also negotiated contracts with the suppliers.

In the area of business development and marketing I had the task to acquire new customers and to increase Valeo’s credibility for AD/ADAS. In focus of the activity were OEM’s all over the world (France, Germany, UK, South Korea, Japan).

SW Project Manager
Nov 2010 – Jul 2013 [2 yrs, 9 mos]
I was responsible for the complete coordination of the Ultrasonic Standard Development.

The ultrasonic basis framework (based on ASIC) in compliance with AUTOSAR and the ultrasonic based blind spot detection shall be mentioned as highlights of my achievements.

This was related to multi project management taking into account budget, resources and delivery dates. Communication with the customer as also the decision which technical solution to choose was under my responsibility. I lead task forces in critical situations, parallel I coordinated projects with external suppliers for research such as Fraunhofer institutes or offshore tests and feature developments in Egypt. 
The representation of the head of SW-PM department (about 16 people) was my responsibility. The training of SW project managers also contained my activity. 
As process owner MAN.3 Project Management and MAN.5 Risikomanagement I was also responsible for improvement and rollout of the process and the dedicated tooling.
In earlier times the SW project manager reported directly for standard projects to the board.

SIA-2009  (Simple-Information-Assistant) is the concept for geo based information systems which can be used for location based advertising. The prototype was able to show the function based on SOAP, WSDL, PHP, SVG, GPS and a mySQL database. 
BUSART-2004 (BUS ART ) is a tool to support the development of CAN ECUs from the design until the service. It can be used for message analysis and generation. The tool is able to simulate ECUs and is perfect to prototype functionality for CAN based ECUs.  The flexible user interface and the state engine based XML controller programming exceeded the former state of the art tools like CANOE.

Apr 2010 – Oct 2010 [7 mos]
Leading of standard SW projects dedicated to ultrasonic sensors.  I was responsible for coordinating the development of sensor blindness detection and also for the task force to avoid the influence of 3rd party ultrasonic senders especially in the Asian market.   The planning, monitoring, coordination as also other PM tasks according to Automotive SPICE was part of my work.
This contract was the starting point of the employee relation with Valeo.

Several Head-Unit projects in the role as 
 Project-Manager/Team-Leader/Expert for projects of
 big French, Korean and German OEM's 
 All projects were launched successfully to production 
2010 contract as Senior Consultant - PM
Project with  2 PM, 12 sub PMs and 80 developers.

HEAD-UNIT development for an OEM located in Bavaria. My responsibility was to establish and accelerate the requirements process and project planning according to Automotive SPICE.
2008 contract as Team-/Project-leader  (Team size:8)
HEAD-UNIT development for an French OEM. My responsibility was the team and project management in the HMI area, which also contains  the coordination between the development, design and ergonomic team. Consultation in the area of SW-architecture was also part of my task. Finally I was responsible for the outsourcing of the maintenance project to India.

2006/2007 contract as Senior Consultant and Software Developer.
HEAD-UNIT development for an French OEM. My responsibility was to develop the logic and the link to the HMI in the area of Media (DVD, DVD-Audio, MP3, Changer, USB, SD, ...), the ON / OFF component, the menu history handling and the software download. As a senior expert I was also asked for questions in  design and architecture of critical components.
2005/2006 contract as Team Lead and Senior Consultant. (team size:4)
Task was the coordination of the team in the development of the flow logic of the navigation. The HEAD-UNIT was for an Korean OEM. The responsibility included also the coordination of the Korean MAP/ MAP-Data supplier.

Collaboration in a stability group around the head unit in the last project phase to reach SOP.
The focus was on fixing crashes due to design and development errors in software and hardware.
The HEAD-UNIT belongs to a Swabian OEM.
2003/2004 contract as Software Developer
HEAD-UNIT development for a Swabian OEM. Part of the activity was to control based on CAN messages of different other functional components in the car like the ZBE ( Central-Control-Unit), Comfort-Seat, …  .  Under my responsibility was also to develop the first personalized and secure data storage in the HEAD-UNIT.
2002 contract as Software Developer
HEAD-UNIT development for a Swabian OEM. Task was to develop the control of the mirrors, the climate and the tuner by CAN commands.  Part of the task was also to integrate the basis SW from another project and to migrate a totally new surface into  the prototype.
