Project: A large CRM initiative was launched in order to manage the international corporate sales of Mercedes-Benz Cars division. The scope was to track all key account management activities on international level and on national level in major European markets. The focus of the CRM solution was account, activity and contract management tracking the operational sales business process, supporting marketing processes as well as providing reporting and analysis capabilities to management of head quarter units and national sales management units. In a second project phase, the solution was fully integrated with the existing Daimler BI environment enabling corporate sales to analyze CRM related data against actual sales data.

Project: The scope of the project was to deliver a unified CRM solution to the international sales network of ABB Instrumentation & Analytics. The sales divisions of all three manufacturing locations in Germany, Canada and USA where equipped with a common CRM tool with strong focus on quote and order management processes. The CRM solution was equipped with a Product Configurator in order to accelerate sales cycles. The solution was integrated into the different ERP backend of the three manufacturing locations. The objective of management was to better monitor and control the sales cycle and to improve the accuracy of sales forecast on the volumes but also on the type and configuration of quoted products.
