Hello!
I am actively building my clientele.
For the most recent (up to the minute) I am re-designing this landing page: titanautorepair.com in to this: https://titanautorepair.netlify.com/. Please note that this is an extremely early draft! It makes use of Gatsby, a static site generator.
My recent focus has been with JavaScript and React, but I also have experience in PHP 5 and 7+. More specifically, last year I built http://focustract.com/ as a winning entry in to a coding challenge. It uses the popular framework Laravel, with Vue on the front end, MariaDB on the backend, and Socialite handling the OAuth third-party login.
For a more traditional landing page that I built for a local business, please see: http://titanautorepair.com.
Recently, I wanted to build something that had a real world application and solved a problem. I found this in the public transit bus system of Salem, Oregon. I wanted to make an app to quickly check bus arrival times. Users can also report a late bus with this app. Please see it live here: https://joelcorey-salembus.now.sh/. This app uses React, Express, and Postgres. It has a separate backend that serves as an API. This application is the the MVP implementation of a much larger, more useful tool that I plan on building in the future.
I am a big fan of kanban (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kanban) boards using columns such as backlog, upcoming, in-progress, testing, and ready. Although, like any good thing if taken to an extreme they are counter-productive. I have recently used this technique to organize my studies to great effect.
It sounds like I would have many opportunities to grow and learn in this position. I would enjoy the opportunity to talk with you more about this opportunity.
