Mathematical modelling and numerical software development in microwave based tomographic inversion. I implemented several finite difference approximations to the Helmholtz equation and a new regularization method for the solution of the inverse problem. Testing of new algorithms on phantom images and real patient data.

Mathematical modelling and numerical realization of an algorithm for the reduction of noise in ultrasound imaging. The mathematical model was solved using a wavelet approximation at multiple scales. The code was developed in C++ using Intel IPP library for real time performance.
