Node.js Developer (Middleware) - Contract - Vienna, Austria - ASAP
Job Position: Node.js Developer (Middleware)
Location: Vienna, Austria (client will interview + onboard remotely until can physically work onsite in Vienna at which it will be 5 days a week onsite)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract (until end of year 2020 - with scope to extend)
Rate: hourly Dependent on suitability
Montash have been engaged with an international E-commerce company based in Vienna, who are seeking a Node Developer with experience in the area of web and Middleware. They have identified a need for freelancers to help on exciting development projects working in an agile environment amongst a vibrant team.
The main task is the development of new applications and the further development of existing applications. This includes participation in the full software cycle including specification, analysis and design.
This is a chance to work on a large-scale project with room to further your career and skills.
Due to the location of this project, please only apply if you are eligible to work in Austria in a freelance capacity.
Required:
- Ideally at least 5 years' Middleware experience in software development of large scale sites
- At least 3 years Node.js experience (Server Side)
- Hands on experience in applying software architecture patterns such as MVC and MVVM
- Build, test and continuous integration process and tools; git, Jenkins
- Agile/Scrum
- Pro-active person with good communication skills
- Fluent German (at least C1 level) - this is a must!
