BI/Data QA Engineer
PROJECT OVERVIEW
In this role you will be responsible for quality assurance tasks with focus on the full test life cycle for database and BI tools. You will sit within the Data and Analytics team, working in an Agile methodology on a range of transformation initiatives.
The assignment will last between 6-8 months and will have a start date ASAP for the right candidate. Hourly rates between €60-65/hour.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Full testing of SQL Server SSIS packages and stored procedures, both functionality and the outputs
- Close cooperation with the various teams and stakeholders
- Involved in all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including test planning, test execution, reporting
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance and execution of manual and automated test cases
- Own the test data and ensure it is reported correctly
- Identify new areas of improvement
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree or relevant professional experience
- 4+ years of experience in related field, with proven experience in testing and QA roles
- Strong knowledge of SQL, databases and programming languages
- Must have experience with MS SQL Server, SSIS packages and stored procedures
- Further experience in BI reporting tools is a significant advantage
