Senior Java Engineer | 6 months | Vienna
My client, a financial services organisation, is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to work on an Enterprise Data Warehouse project. This project is crucial to ensuring the organisation moves forward in the increasingly digitalised financial world.
Your responsibilities:
- Assist the Software Architect in designing the software solution.
- Unit testing of the developed software components.
- Writing well designed, documented and testable Java code.
Your experience:
- Robust experience in Java.
- Data Warehouse experience.
- 4+ years. professional experience in GUI application development.
- Good knowledge in Front End technologies such as; JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, Html 5.0, Hibernate, Spring Framework).
- Strong SQL- and database know-how (preferable Oracle).
- Knowledge and experience of CI- and source code management- tools such as; Gradle, SVN, SonarQube.
- Agile mind-set and practical experience with Scrum.
- Pro-active attitude and team orientation.
- English language speaker.
- German is a plus.
