1 x SAP Consultant with experience of ERP projects, ideally within international organisations, is required for a short term contract engagement in Vienna, Austria.This is an English-speaking role and the successful applicant will partner with business units including Finance, Procurement and HR to ensure successful SAP support for business operations.
As a SAP ERP Consultant your duties will be to:
- Coordinate all activities required for successful completion of SAP related projects including training, monitoring, documentation, maintenance procedures, communications and support.
- Ensure relevant and timely communication of SAP related information to stakeholders.
- Lead the measurement of value and ROI realised in the course of SAP ERP projects.
- Work closely with process owners to manage scope and ensure programs deliver expected business outcomes and capabilities.
- Execute SAP-based business transformations in the financial and business functions, from concept proposal to realisation, stabilisation, and ongoing management; accountable for all methodology deliverables.
- Continuously monitor and review SAP Technical and Application Maintenance contracts to ensure SLA's are regularly met and identify opportunities for resource optimisation.
- Participate as necessary in the implementation of enhancements to the HCM Module.
- Ensure smooth handover of duties to the new staff position holder at end of contract.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills & qualifications needed:
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in SAP technical and application functionalities; knowledge of Basis, ABAP and HR, FI/CO, Travel.
- Master's degree or equivalent in business administration or extensive relevant experience.
- Prince2, ITIL and related Project Management methodologies, is desirable.
- Experience in ERP implementations in Public Sector or International Organisations, is desirable.
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
